Specials Problem

I have a couple of products listed as specials.
In the specials module I have the following settings set:
Limit: 5

Image (W x H): 80 x 80

Layout: default

Position: column left

Status: enabled

Sort Order: 0

WHY do the specials only show up on the specials page? I would like the specials to show in the left column of every page on my site (www.shadoblixfarm.ca)

Change the layout. you may need to add this multiple times for the different pages such as home, category, product etc.
