Also is it normal when editing a category not to be able to access the 'General' and 'Data' tabs? I click on them and nothing happens?

Well Ive now tested it on two shops and IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

None are working, I just think its weird because it uploads images for manufacturer and products just not the categories? When you browse for the image the file path comes up but no loading graphic and no preview?

Is there any advice you can give me to fix the problem. Both shops are fresh installs over last few days.

Is it a problem with admin/controller/catalog/category.php or perhaps my server? Either way Im stuck so any help would be mucho appreciated.

It is now showing an error on IE saying 'Done but with errors on page'

Is the image file too big perhaps? try another image.. the same image you used for the manufacturer that was succesful. I noticed some hokeyness with it not letting me upload some pictures in the past.

Hi Q,

Yeh Ive tried using tyhe exact same image. Even tried copying the same image and uploading copy. Just not working for some reason.

Im thinking about a complete re-install but these are fresh installs like I said. Has 1.2.9 been updated at any point recently maybe Ive got and old download copy of 1.2.9....doubt it though.

Thanks

I am getting a problem where a Category graphic does not appear (though uploaded) and one of the sub category graphics (the only sub-category at this time) is showing in its place ie, that graphic is duplicated for both the Main category (where it shouldn't be) and a next level category (where it should be).

Any ideas on how/whether this can be overcome????

Many thanks
Christine
