[Sol]Urgent Help Needed regarding order showing Cancelled ?!

Hi

I am new to selling and have had my first order through tonight. I am confused as the order was showing cancelled but the order had gone through and the payment was sent although I had to go to paypal and 'capture it'? I am really confused and don't know what was sent to the customer and which settings I need to change?

What is going on and how do I change it !

Check your paypal setup to make sure the proper notifications are assigned to the different order statuses.

Also check under your settings what your default order status is for orders. It should be pending or something along those lines that indicate the order is not yet complete.

Thanks .. it was the paypal setup which was all set to cancelled. A bit scary as was my first order.
