Thanks, it looks great but I'm not sure it's going to gel with 1.5.1. :)

We have created 6 different image zooms for OpenCart:

Magic Zoom Plus™ - zoom on hover, enlarge on click.
Magic Zoom™ - zoom on hover.
Magic Magnify Plus™ - magnify on hover, enlarge on click.
Magic Magnify™ - magnify on hover.
Magic Thumb™ - enlarge on click.
Magic Touch™ - zoom deep on click, full screen button, perfect for very large images (1000 to 5000px width).

Choose your favourite and download a free demo:

I've uploaded magcizoom to my directory, but I can't browse to any http://your.url/magiczoom page. I get an error 404. I've uploaded the contents of my zip to my root directory (where my opencart is) any help would be apprecaited :)

Please put your own domain name in that URL e.g.

http://ians-website.com/magiczoom

We've made a note to make that clearer in our instructions :)

I'm in serious trouble with this at the moment, my whole site has gone down. I uploaded contents to my directory and it's messed everything up. I've lost my whole site :-/ Currently working with hostgator to try and sort it.

EDIT: this was my fault, due to uploading the files to my directory as opposed to the folder (as mentioned below)

Yes, apparently, my htaccess file was amended by the magic zoom upload and it messed with my whole site. I lost my domain front, hundreds of inner pages and I also lost my opencart admin log in. It was scary, lol. Sorted now, I'm not sure what went wrong. Do you have any ideas? I'd like to upload magiczoom but this has put me off. :-/

Yikes! Glad you got that fixed :) The problem was that you uploaded the contents of the magiczoom folder to your root directory, not the magiczoom folder itself. The instructions state:
2. Extract the zip file to your computer and upload the magiczoom folder to the root of your Open Cart directory.
Please do this and then continue with the instructions.

The reason your site went offline is because Magic Zoom comes with its own .htaccess file, located in the magiczoom folder. So when you uploaded the contents of the folder, it overwrote your original .htaccess file.

The readme I've downloaded this eve says "Unzip the contents of the zip file and upload them to your OpenCart directory." But it's beside the point, I'll re-try later and let you know how I get on. I'm using opencart 1.5.1 - is it compatible?

That's some old text which hasn't been updated. Thanks for pointing that out and sorry for the trouble. We will update that readme.txt as a priority.

Yes, all our modules are OpenCart 1.5.1 compatible.

Thanks!

It's working great now, thanks. I need to modify some of the parameters to display images correctly but it's looking very good! :) very pleased with it. I shall upgrade licence when I've completed work on the site :)

Hi. The zoom is great but it's created a sizeable gap between my photos and product description underneath. Do you know why this could be? Cheers :)

EDIT: I've solved this now, it was clashing with a left-column banner that I had on my product page. Going to need to re-position it. Cheers.

very good image zoomer. Back end is very comprehensive :)

Great!

Please send your gap question to our support team, with a URL of your page if possible and they'll get back to you tomorrow with how to fix that.

Great, thanks, will do. There's also a minor issue with a couple of product images not marrying with magiczoom and still working under the old one.

EDIT: solved the image problem. Just renamed the few that wouldn't work and they pulled into line :)

Yes, pretty impressive! Installed easily, had a few minor compatibility issues, which were quickly solved by Igor on your support team. Thanks very much! :)
