undefined index: points

I am receiving an error in the shopping cart that reads:

"Notice: Undefined index: points in /home/content/86/7882586/html/store/catalog/view/theme/default/template/checkout/cart.tpl on line 53"

I am running opencart v1.5.1.3.1 and have my template updated to run on this version. I am also running options boots 1.5.x but have been assured that this functionality, as it relates to points, is core functionality. I really need this fixed so any help would be apprecaited.

The template he is using has only:
Stylesheet/
Stylesheet.css was designed with respect of the latest oc release.

Common/
Header.tpl the 2 changes in the latest release was implemented in this file.
Footer.tpl

All these files had been updated to be used with oc1.5.1.3.1
Where would you assume the issue in these 3 files?

The problem was not template related. I have isolated the problem to an add-on that I had installed not being compatible with v1.5.1.3.1 OpenCart. I have removed the add-on and everything is working again.

Solved it!

/catalog/view/theme/YOUR-THEME/template/checkout/cart.tpl. Edit that file and in line 53, look for:

Code: Select all

<?php if ($product['points']) { ?>
and replace with:

Code: Select all

<?php if ($product['reward']) { ?>
Worked for me!
