Date format in created invoice

Hi,
I can see this general topic of changing the date format has been covered but I can't work it out for the invoice template...
When an invoice is produced I get in the top right hand corner (in the default template):
Order Date: 17/11/2011
Invoice No: INV-2011-002
Invoice Date: 2011-11-17 07:24:15

How can I change the Invoice Date format to be day/month/year like the Order date?
The time is not ideal either as it's not local time, but hopefully I can just delete that part.

I'm running 1.4.9.4 and have already installed the extension:
