I've been doing some research on how to write an xml for a vqmod from an user-friendly html form, and I just found this website which looks pretty interesting. You can try it out, just paste some of your vqmods xml code and see the form generated which you can edit to generate new xml code. You can also add new operations or delete existing ones.

I would love someone to code something like it.

thing is my guess is it will only create a form based on the original xml data.

Some xml files may include certain functions others dont, for example, replace, or insert after.

Form generator wouldnt know about both if only 1 was used in the original vqmod file.

Actually, as a editor your could just load a xml with the vqmod "template" let's say. And in the generated form, you can just duplicate, delete or add new operations. And about the functions (search/ replace etc) you can change them very easily.

Hi,

Please feel free to try it out now.

Currently it allows you to download the compiled xml file once generated.

If a few testers like it, I will release it as a free mod which you can upload to your server.

You will then be able to choose either to (a) download the generated xml file or (b) have it go straight in to your vqmod/xml folder for testing/use

Sure, I'll start testing it. I would be very interested. I am sure that with a tool like this we can put together a vqmod mod very quickly.
