USPS Authorization in 1.5.0

I'm helping someone with their site and we are trying to get the USPS module working. We did get a user ID from USPS after creating the account and asked them to enable the account for use with OpenCart. However, entering the user ID they provided still does not allow the rates to show when clicking the quote button on the page. It says "Authorization failure, you are not authorized to connect to this server."

I've seen mention of a password on the forum, and we did get a password from USPS with the user ID, but 1.5.0 is not giving me a field to put the password in. It just asks for user ID.

Can someone please advise?

How long did it take for them to activate in production mode ?
