Product Image Deletion Needed

If you upload a product image with a file name such as SAMPLE1 and later decide to update the picture with a new one with the same name SAMPLE1 you are not able to do this.

The system needs a check to atleast say.... FILE ALREADY EXHIST...DO YOU WISH TO CONTINUE and then let it write over that file with the replacement image.

Additionally, I don't see any simple way to DELETE picture files.... when you remove a picture form a product it would be nice to also have the option show up to ask DO YOU WISH TO DELETE THE IMAGE FROM THE DATABASE.

Or have I overlooked these options somehow ?

it does this! it will overwrite the old one!

Okay, I'll double check, thought it was a bug, could be something on my server end!!

But.. how to just DELETE pictures, such as when you decide to DELETE a PRODUCT.....does it delete any pictures that would have been associated with it??
