google base setup for dummys

I am trying to get google base sorted and i have copied the feed from the url and saved to pc but when i copied it i noticed that it started with a long list of errors and i cant get google base to accept the file. Any guidance will be great as really getting to that point of throwing pc out the window.
This is the list of error it goes on for ages but only put in a few lines

Could this be the cause of the problem??

edit catalog/controller/feed/google_base.php

find all occurrences of weight_class and change them to weight_class_id
