1) The configuration of the store domain prevented the javascript from working, cross domain request error.
2) The servers PHP settings were set to prevent data being able to be sent by the default method, easy fix.
If anyone else is having problems please PM me with your URL and some log in details and I will have a quick look.
Thank you.

Has this module been been modified yet to cope with unsubscribes via the newsletters themselves, and through the customer's OpenCart account (so that the unsubscribe request is carried across into both MailChimp & OpenCart)?cruiz wrote: 'sync' should work both ways....
Opencart <---subscribe/unsubsribe ---> MailChimp
All the subsribes work fine...but when someone unsubsribes it should change to "no" in opencart and name should be deleted from mailchimp. right now even if its set to "no" in opencart the name is still there in mailchimp even after syncing.
Checking api key is set...ok.
Checking list id is set...ok.
Found 52 subscribers...ok.
Sending to mailchimp...ok.
Success count: 48...ok.
Error count: 4...ok.
What does the error count mean and how can it be fixed?
The error count is to do with the email addresses sent to Mailchimp. For example you might have a fake email address such as asdasdaf@asfsfsdf.com (I get alot of this) which Mailchimp will disregard and list in the error count. Or you might be trying to subscribe someone that has had their address bounced in a previous email campaign in which case it has been removed and it will be listed in the error count.
It's not an error in the normal sense as in something has gone wrong, it's more a count of email addresses that were not accepted by Mailchimp.

Shouldn't, the way it's written is that it will look through all customers and get everyone who asked to receive newsletters and then add/update them on the Mailchimp list. Then it grabs everyone who has asked not to received newsletters and removes them from the Mailchimp list.Aco wrote:Has this module been been modified yet to cope with unsubscribes via the newsletters themselves, and through the customer's OpenCart account (so that the unsubscribe request is carried across into both MailChimp & OpenCart)?cruiz wrote: 'sync' should work both ways....

So, technically anyone that has an account at your store will have the correct status at Mailchimp and from my understanding if they unsubscribe from your Mailchimp list using the Mailchimp interface then you can't add them again anyway.

I tried this mod on my 1.4.9.1 store and, although it worked, everytime I did a sync it sent all the email address from OC to MC. I have an auto responder set up so people who had already signed up were getting 'Welcome' emails each time as well.
I've just done a new store in 1.5.1.2 and wondered if the mod still works like that or if it recognises existing email addresses now?
Thanks
In the past you had to manually set the double optin flag but in the lastest version it is set automatically.
Also added an error log for email addresses that are rejected as per the above posters request.
