Help needed please with About Us and Privacy Policy etc..

Hi Everyone

I'm hoping you can help me and apologise in advance if what I am asking is a bit basic but I am a complete noob to all this I am afraid.

I have just downloaded and installed Opencart. I am completely new to all this and to be honest, only have a very basic knowledge of *.html let alone *.php etc..

I have managed to install the software ok and have figured out how to add products and change the basic info via the control panel, however, I can't seem to find a way to amend the details in the Information section ie. Privacy Policy and About Us page.

I have clicked the link in the control panel to catalog>information thinking this might be where I would amend it all but it just comes up with a PHP error saying

"Fatal error: Class 'Modelcataloginformation' not found ... on line 28"

this is all a bit over my head!

I tried finding a *.php file where I might be able to just type the text I wanted to input via Notepad but haven't found a file that seems to contain what I want to amend.

Hoping you guys can either point me in right direction or, as my knowledge is so basic, perhaps point me in direction of some tutorials to clue me up a little more.

Hi,

Ii sounds like some of the files have failed to upload.

Re-upload everything in the admin section apart from config.php do not over write that otherwise you will cause yourself more problems.
