Hi there,

I am considerting to use OpenCart for my e-commerce solution and wonder if anyone from Canada has dealt with Canadian taxes. I just want to get some idea how difficult it would be before I start.

Thanks!

Yeah, it's easy. Different taxes for different type of products are easy to realize.
But if you need to charge different taxes for different locations (like in the US) it can become harder.

That will be fantastic if you could post some more details how to set up different taxes for Canada. I am not sure if you are from Canada but we have GST (6%) and PST (vary rates for different provinces). I look forward to seeing your post!!! Thanks a lot!

Oh yes. I totally forgot about HST. I guess you are from Canada after all. :)
So, are you going to post some detailed information how I can set this up?
Your help will be appreciated!!!
