Product Limitation for Free/Flat Shipping removed in 1.5.x?

Hi there,

There is an option in Free Shipping / Flat Shipping Modules in OC v1.4.9.5,
which allows store administrators to choose specific products that the shipping method will or will not apply to.
It's a very convenient feature for those shops selling products of various natures.

However, it seems this feature is removed in OC v1.5.x.
Would this change be temporary or permanent?

Before it's back (or if it won't be back),
would there be any free / paid modules can be used as substitution?

It wasn't really removed...the code just wasn't in the version Daniel used when he started writing 1.5.0, and it was never re-added in. I'm sure it's on the list to be added in, but I don't know that anyone's mentioned a timetable.

If you're looking for something with the same features (and a few other additional functions), my Free Shipping Plus extension is compatible up to 1.5.1.x.
