Would you please tell me why you deleted my post? If I experience any kind of problem with OC, I would like to know if this is a bug or maybe another issue due to something else.
i don't have time to explain everything to you!

My mistake, I forgot about that step from before. Fixed all the changes that you mentioned and was wondering which SVN number the "auto special price" one was. Don't see a description for it in the latest few SVN.Daniel wrote:scmKORE wrote:Modules -> Category -> Position = "Content Top"
Doesn't show it as a horizontal black bar with the content, instead shows the content vertically. In 1.5.0.1 it was a horizontal black bar so I'm assuming this is an error.
just tested and it works fine for me. i'm assuming you have not clicked the display at top for the categories in the admin category page.
2, i have these:
Notice: Undefined index: cm in /home/rpie0019/public_html/system/library/length.php on line 42Notice: Undefined index: cm in /home/rpie0019/public_html/system/library/length.php on line 42Notice: Undefined index: cm in /home/rpie0019/public_html/system/library/length.php on line 42Notice: Undefined index: cm in /home/rpie0019/public_html/system/library/length.php on line 42Notice: Undefined index: cm in /home/rpie0019/public_html/system/library/length.php on line 42Notice: Undefined index: cm in /home/rpie0019/public_html/system/library/length.php on line 42

this is from firefox, the previous was from chrome. and this is another host
the opencart version is not fixed in download or demo even if in svn apears as fixed?
eg:
1. Log in to OC 1.5.0.5 at http://localhost/oc1.5/admin/index.php?token=abcd
2. Change URL to http://localhost/oc1.4.9/admin/index.php?token=abcd
Result: logged in to dashboard at other store on same domain despite never logging in there.
Proposed fix: Use full path for session cookies? Not sure, haven't delved into that part of the code yet, but pretty sure this is a (low urgency) security issue.

I forget all the reasoning, but the full path for sessions has gone back and forth a couple of times. I don't remember what they are, but either way causes problems.justinv wrote:I installed OC1.5.0.5 alongside OC1.4.9.x, and found that if I am logged in to one admin I can change the url to the other admin and the token and session cookie allow me to be logged in at both.

Perhaps a DB based session would solve the problem.

i'm sure the reason for this has been explained but i will explain it again. yes this is how cookies work. they work across domains and all the folders within the domain because scripts require the cookie information. use sub-domains!justinv wrote:I installed OC1.5.0.5 alongside OC1.4.9.x, and found that if I am logged in to one admin I can change the url to the other admin and the token and session cookie allow me to be logged in at both.

100% right!
google also will not differentness with people having 2 stores on the same domain. it will seriously mess search engine rankings up. you will have duplicative pages with different information on.
