Does anyone know how I can put favicon?

You can place your favicon.ico file in the "catalog/view/theme/default/image" directory, then edit "catalog/view/theme/default/module/layout.tpl" by adding the following line in the "<head>" section:--
before the closing "</head>" tag.

If you're not living on the edge ... you're taking up too much space!
The current Opencart release doesn't have layout.tpl.
To change the favicon, go to the admin panel and click the picture shown below. Your new favicon must be a .png and not an .ico file.
Tip: check that your image manager still works after you've uploaded the favicon. It should be OK, but if not, delete the image and re-upload.
