So will there be any major changes in the upcoming versions such as headers, template changes or anything that will require changing my entire files that I have modified ? You guys have done a great job with v1.5 and sometimes I feel bad bugging with questions.

you can always see the changes made by looking at the svn.

http://code.google.com/p/opencart/source/list

I think the latest version is pretty stable now. No one has reported any major bugs or anything thats going to stop opencart working how it should since the latest fix.

I now have time to start adding get the order editor working.

Big applause to Dan and the boyz. I like it very much 1.5.0. Now I can use this online and do some shopping in my own store lol.

One suggestion I have, can you add a barcode module ;D. Apart from that, it is already an awesome cart ;)

Thanks

Daniel, this still needs to be fixed! I really hope someone will hear me and agree.

Imagine me shopping on demo site. I have a small laptop screen. I go to product page and start reading the product description. Because I scrolled down, the "Add to cart" button is on top of my screen (but I still see it). After reading description, I decide to buy the product and press the "add to cart" button without scrolling up.

What happens? Nothing, because I didn't notice the picture flying to the cart, as well as I don't see where I can check out (I didn't notice the product was added to cart).

Guys, I understand you have big screens and you haven't noticed this problem. try to resize the screen.

My suggestions:
when product is added to cart, the whole page scrolls up and shopping cart is blinking for few seconds
-or-
when press "add to cart" button, the page is redirected to checkout/cart page

Nice to know. Do you make a 1.5.1 version of the most stable release? This is maybe more handy for the extension/templates makers. And it is more understandable for new OC-ers :P

That only shows what changed but it doesn't give you the files to overwrite.

We just landed a new project and are adjusting the project schedule to accommodate the first stable 1.5.x.x release. The demo is stunning. Good job!!

Hi peecha85,

there is a "free" module (some scripting changes) that you may be interested in, in the interim. here.

I am using it and it works just fine.....

Thanks for the efforts, I'm just trying to use opencart for a new project and I think is really impressive.
I don't know if it's a bug but for me the "Return request" page don't shows the returned products, can anyone try this? Thanks!

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Daniel and his team. I've been using 1.4x for a year or so now and was impressed, however 1.5 has a fantastic default look and the included extensions are pretty good.

If others on this thread are having problem may I suggest you post in the correct forum.

Cheers
