Never use the packed (gzip) version of the editor when using MSIE.
Check it inside your scripts (Browser is IE or not) OR call always the raw (unzipped) version of the editor only.
Then it works.

Thanks OSWorX, tried that and your right it worked, will carry out a few more rests but looks promising, possibly something that should be explained on here to future uses of this mod.

Would be fantastic to have this for 1.5.4.1 onwards... Current editor is not very intuitive...

Does someone know an option to disable TinyMCE for some textarea's?
For example, when adding an attribute, what is normaly a simple textarea now changes in a TinyMCE editor, but the frontend is not able to deal with this, so I'm getting Attribute: <p>valueOfAtrribute<p/>.
Also happens at review, metatags, etc...
