Great job Daniel & Qphoria!

I search high & low but can't seem to find this Multiple Layout System in the admin control panel?

Is it ready yet?

Thanks!
That system was scrapped a while back. It will not be in 1.5 There is a new layout system, but it's not going to be controlled by drag and drop like that one.

Great work so far guys !!

I've just posted a 'feature request' but not sure if it is or a potential bug? Kinda hard knowing where to post it. Not sure how exactly the rewards mod should work, but i posted my findings here: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=110&t=32580

Cheers Again

Has the new version being sorted out yet?

I am currently configuring my opencart (a new install) and I have downloaded the last version 1.4.9.5 and installed some modifications/extensions on it.

How easy will it be to upgraded to the new version without losing the extensions?

Thanks

Karen

did not have time enough to look at RC2. But one question. Will the DB (sql) be the same for the release/live version ?
this because we are looking for a software package as our cashregister software. The software kan be used to fill and edit a webshop and we are hoping to make it compatible.

anyone think i should forget about making opencart IE6 compatible and just have a upgrade browser link like these people:

http://www.ie6update.com/

I hate IE6.

There should be a mass lawsuit against Microsoft for all the extra work they have caused web developers over the years.

Agreed, IE6 is such a burden. It's like the boil on humanity's ass that won't go away.

The time spent supporting IE6 could be used for much more important things, like trying to figure out how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop. 20 years later and i'm still no closer to finding the solution. Damn that wise old owl! ???

I'm all for it. Ten years is far longer than any browser should expect to be supported, especially one as broken as IE6.

That being said, be prepared for users in Asian markets to complain. It's the region keeping the damn thing alive.

When would the time to stop supporting IE6 be?

1.4.9.5 is still IE6 compatible + it is very stable.

1.5.0 is a new version, different from the 1.4.x versions, a good point to leave IE6 behind and move on.

So far 150rc2’s raw and out of shape as to design. It demands so much rasp-file work. Menu should be customizable. Did you try place into menu more items than enough for 980? Menu dropdowns only one level. Subsubs are not displayed.
Testing more…
As to IE6. We should respect it as a Granddad. Don’t hesitate & leave it to rest in peace. :'(
