Error uploading data feed in Google Merchant Center

I've tried to upload data feeds with both the Google Base and the Google Base Improved data feed and both give me the error message "Error parsing/validating XML feed". What can I do to get my products uploaded through the site? Is there anything I can check? I'm using Version 1.4.9.3 that's been updated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the reason I'm trying to get my products uploaded is that Google Checkout currently ships my items for free, presumably because there are no weights associated with the items yet.

Well I've maneuvered past the first error to a second one. Now it says that the delimiter detection failed, what's the delimiter for google_base_improved? I've got the option to set it to tilde, pipe, or tab.

Well I'm slowly moving further before I get errors, ha. I've fixed the image error, now I'm getting an error going to the google pages in chrome that states:

"This page contains the following errors:

error on line 38 at column 761: Entity 'Acirc' not defined
error on line 38 at column 761: Encoding error
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error."

How can I fix this error? I'm getting 2 items uploaded in the test feed of 3 it claims, when I in actuality have >20000. What is causing this?
