Is this a dead module or does it still exist?
We could really do with using this module, otherwise it looks like being an additional 3rd party blog app like wordpress, which would be overkill for what we want, not to mention a hassle due to the lack of integration.
If someone has this, old version or not it would be appreciated if it could be re-posted.
THanks

OK, I have now got my hands on the module/s. They are both within the zip of all older extensions which can be found here: - http://opencart.googlecode.com/files/extension.zip
There are 2 versions, 1.4.4 and a 1.4.x ........ however both appear to have exactly the same files in them, both with the readme giving the date of 13feb 2010.
I have not tested them yet, and am reluctant to do so on a live server, so will need to set a test one up to confirm if it runs on the latest version/s (1.4.7 or 1.4.8/b).
If anyopne has already done so could you let me know.
Thanks

Hello! From that pack with old extensions , i took the one from siamopencart and updated it on 1.4.9.3
You can find it here
http://shop-carts.net/demo1/Blog_News_o ... 201493.rar
You should try it on a test store first.. I added coments to the modifications of the common files , so you should better locate the code , and insert it manualy in your controllers(I am reffering to admin/controller/header.tpl and others)

I installed it on one of my demo stores , and it has installed homepage slideshow , and i forgot to remove it from some file , I will be back with the update.
Updated and tested again , it works very well
To avoid a new install , just go to catalog>controller>common>home.php , search and remove the line

Thanks for this extension, I recently installed and works fine. However, I would like to ask how can we make the title of the blog linkable?florinsith wrote:Hello! From that pack with old extensions , i took the one from siamopencart and updated it on 1.4.9.3
