Filter by Option
I would like to be able to assign size options to my products in a clothes store and then allow the site visitor to be able to filter by the sizes.
Something similar to the categories module only rather than selecting a category the user selects a size and can view all the products available in that size.
Does this already exist or could somebody produce it.
I am prepared to pay within reason.
I would have thought this would be a standard feature for an ecommerce store.
well the problem with this currently is that options are product specific, so any filters on them would be quite intensive searches of the db and would be based on text searches and require that all the option names match exactly. This sort of a filter system will become much easier when 1.5 is released with the global options since all options will be defined only once and you will be able to filter by id's.
