Merchant account not supported for this country

Can anyone clarify is their a problem with PayPal and OpenCart in Spain

We have set up PayPal website payments pro as our payment gateway but when you go to pay by credit card we get the error "merchant account not supported for this country"

Ok I made a change back to Paypal Payments Standard so it works with that. Paypal contacted us to say that Paypal Payment pro is only supported in US, UK and Canada. I found a post stating this from 2008. You would think that PayPal would have moved a bit with Pro in a couple of years but obviously not.
