well i have cut them down to just 3 and it is the same (see below) I thought it may been the slider too but if you look at the IE pic you will see that there is a clear space between the edge of the slider and all pics and the right edge of the white background. I dunno this is terrible, i hope the designer can get back to me soon with a fix or i will have drop this template altogether but I love it so much!!
Actually i just noticed this but if you zoom into the header (menu section) look at each end you will notice like an inside border which looks awful, (the displacement of the search bar in the header only looks like that because i zoomed out to get a complete pic, when zoomed back to normal it goes back to it's proper home-another thing that don't happen in other browsers) yet check it in FF and it is crisp and clear...i dunno something badly astray here.

Yes, not sure what the problem is then. I have the search button out line but not sure why.

For the search, remove the width value:
Code: Select all
#search {
color:#222222;
float:left;
font-weight:bold;
padding-left:10px;
padding-top:1px;
width:520px; <--- remove or increase into 570px
}
Is this happen when you open the demo to?ha33y wrote:well i have cut them down to just 3 and it is the same (see below) I thought it may been the slider too but if you look at the IE pic you will see that there is a clear space between the edge of the slider and all pics and the right edge of the white background. just like the search error above, in my laptop its fine, may be its because i have wide screen.
Can you test it by open the demo.
no your demo looks lovely and even the guy above looks nice and symmetrical (apart from his search function), I like his darker colour too..very nice..only mine seems to do this..
I have now removed the slides and features and still the same...i am going mad here..the menu bar on the edge has the inner boarder and the bottom 3 rows are now 1.
UPDATE: ALSO PLEASE NOTICE THAT YOUR SMALL MENU ITEMS ON THE HEADER BAR RIGHT HAND SIDE ARE MISSING IN IE

yes, it's not overwrite file. for secure, you can upload it by file. not copy paste and overwrite folder.Mike5 wrote:Hi, do you install the two folders (catalog and image) in the root and overwrite the existing folders in there?

turn it off by remove on home.tpl, but you need to change the stylesheet to split it into 2, not three.gavin m wrote:Just a quick question, ont he thre boxes at the bottom, is it configurable to only show 2? So, if I didn't want 'SPECIALS' can I turn it off and the other 2 adjust to fill the space?
Thanks

Code: Select all
a.tr_cart {
background: url(../image/cart.png) no-repeat;
}
<a class="tr_cart" href="<?php echo str_replace('&', '&', $cart); ?>" title="<?php echo $text_cart; ?>"><?php echo $text_cart; ?></a>
