When trying to send mails and newsletters the following error message is displayed as a popup:

Menüleiste "Custom" existiert nicht

Translated to English: Toolbar "Custom" does not exist.

If you're going to open a lot of bug reports, we would prefer if you could follow the instructions here -> http://forum.opencart.com/index.php/topic,1466.0.html

Please can you provide us with steps on how to reproduce this and also ideally a screenshot of the error.

I've not seen this issue before.

I know the contents of the mentioned topic already. But I am no fan of Google and try to avoid them as much as possible. What about moving the project to Sourceforge? Maybe a better place for the development of Open Source software?

SF does have better theming, but google is just as opensource as sf. its just another account you'd have to open either at google or at sf.net.

Let google into your life... you must conform! you can be saved! "One of Us"... "One of Us"

Regarding the toolbar-error-message: Today the error does not occur anymore. Maybe because of switching back to the original FCKeditor after testing with the latest version from their website (because it has easier upload-config-settings).

So you upgraded to the latest fckeditor, then went back to the old one and it fixed itself?
I really dislike fckeditor. Maybe we need to try TinyMCE or Xinha.

Anyway, then I guess this is fixed? I've see that error before helping others with just english installed. It seems the fix for that was to just re-upload the fckeditor folder too.

Something flaky about that folder.

Yes the problem is gone now.

Maybe something really flaky about the folder or the way FCKeditor is working. As said earlier: I tried to upload some files via FCK in order link a preview audiofile to a product. Sometimes the files showed up in an automatically created folder (but outside the opencart-folder), sometimes not - though FCK said: "Successfully uploaded". The first happened when uploading via the inbuilt browser after clicking on the insert-link-function, the latter was the case when clicking on the Upload-tab trying to upload directly without the inbuilt file-browser of FCK. Editing the paths in the configure.php brought no success. Strange. Hence the test with the newest FCK-version, which accepted the new paths but lead to the error-message when clicking on "Newsletter" or "Mail".

You probably failed to upgrade FCKeditor correctly. I had a similar issue last time I upgraded it, but I don't recall exactly what I changed.

My advice would be to wait for the update in 0.8 and everything will work as expected. It should be one of the first things I do in 0.8, so it'll be in the SVN fairly early on after the 0.7.9 release.

I will lock this topic, as no further user response is required on this subject.
