Send xml file to IP address

Hello.
I am building a site for a client who uses a warehouse fulfillment for her orders. They want an xml file sent to a IP address when an oder comes in.
How can I do this? Are there any existing scripts? (I've scoured using every search term I can think of).
Can anyone help develop this function?
