Hello Q,

When do you expect the final for the 7.9 (RC7).

I have the 7.9 RC3 installed from November. You suggested a few weeks ago that I might want to wait for the final before upgrading.  I have not done an upgrade yet  ...

We're just testing and debugging now really, each new RC introduces new fixes, sometimes new problems.

We "expect" the final branch in October 2008! But somehow, just when we think we got it all figured out, things keep coming up.

But we really feel we are closer than ever this time. Hopefully if RC8 has no bugs, then there won't need to be an RC9 and we can go final

I'll be looking forward to the new cart!! Can anything be done to speed the process up?? 

feel free to set your store up, add products, etc. The upgrade process between versions never touches your products or settings. Usually we try to update only the code, but sometimes there are template file changes as well, so it might be best to wait on designing a new template.

But you can set most everything up for the rest of the store.

Donations would help, it'd mean I pay more attention to this, rather than other paid work.
