I'm extremely new to opencart and all its functions. If someone is willing to put the process involved in placing a company logo on your website in layman's terms, I would much appreciate it.

Also, I can't seem to change the origin and currency, even after changing the settings which state Origin and currency.

Thanks for any advice

best solution to do this...  delete all the files..  remove the bookmark to the site and call it a day..

well now -  honestly --- look in the defualt.css  -- hmm  between line 1-100 say - you will see it in there

its all css

enjoy

go to yourstore/catalog/template/default/image and place your image in that folder.

then go to yourstore/catalog/template/default/css and open the file default.css

replace  with the filename of your logo

Code: Select all

#header .a {
	background: url('../image/logo.png') no-repeat;
	behavior: url('catalog/javascript/png/iepngfix.htc');
	width: 157px;
	height: 32px;
	float: left;
	position: absolute;
	top: 22px;
	left: 10px;
}

why not post in the commercial request area for template change and what you want to spend on doing it...

it may be faster for you ....  seems like even given the fish and shown how the net is used to catch a fish your still hungry...
