This page http://docs.opencart.com/en-gb/developer/module/
Has links to:
The easiest way to create a module is to download the DIY Module Builder skeleton from HostJars.
http://opencart.hostjars.com/creating-opencart-modules
http://opencart.hostjars.com/
Of which both don't work

Ok, more problems -
OpenCart identifies existing modules automatically, simply by reading the admin/controller/module folder of your store.
But there is no "admin/controller/module" folder in my 3.0.3.1 install

Any modules existing in this folder will automatically be shown on the Modules page, and on the User Permissions, page.

Yes it is sadly. Not a good way to start my relationship with the code.

Anything done about these links? Link to DIY Module Builder skeleton from HostJars still returns a 500

HostJars is no longer online for some time already. And the OC Site itself is not
up to date, they even still show v.1.5.6.x Extensions on the official V.3.x Download Site,
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=cms/download
Even the email address 'opencart@zendesk.com' on the Contact Page leads to nowhere.
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... rt/contact
One reason might be, that OC is very busy with their latest V.3 Development, and noone
else is willing and/or authorized, to update their Site.
---
An old 1.5.1.x Version of such an Extension is available here:
https://github.com/IP-CAM/DIYModuleStarter
And some Extension Builder Infos for OC-3 Versions exist here:
https://medium.com/@justinasjbeinorius/ ... 66df28821b
---
But something is wrong with this Site also, it sometimes takes minutes, to get a Page, after clicking on a Link
or adding a Post, and that's worse ... ???
