I've been making some posts on the phpbb3 forum to get help with why the forum search is such garbage.
A direct quote from the phpbb dev team:

Which pretty much is admission that they totally screwed the pooch on their search engine and basic functionality is not included with their system so they rely on google.

So it looks like we need to add a google site search to the site.

Ok. You will be happy to see a new google search query added to the search page. This should make our lives much easier when searching.

Now when someone wants to know how to change the number of "new products" they can search:
"new products" and the first result shows the answer.

WIN! :D
