My client has html site and now he wants to convert it in opencart. But I am new in opencart and I am developer of Wordpress. I do not know where to start from to convert html site to opencart. Please somebody help.

It sounds like you need to sub-contract :)

If you'd rather take the plunge yourself then you need to find out if the HTML is definitely the only electronic product catalog that the client has - ideally you want a CSV that you can import into OpenCart's database. Failing that, you need to load the HTML into some sort of parser so that you can make a CSV - or, if there are only a few products, just put them all in by hand.

For the templates, you can copy the style/layout from the WordPress site. OpenCart's templates are straight PHP so they're very easy to work with.

Guessing that your client already has some means of getting paid by their customers, so you'll also need to find/build a compatible payment module for OpenCart or find a new one that the client's happy with.
