52 views and no takers, can you believe it? Maybe the price is too steep.
Oh well. Just wait till I release the next load of templates. They're getting better as I go along, and I'm thinking of releasing ones that still work even with javascript turned off (for accessibility and just because). At the moment, most templates don't pass accessibility tests which can be an issue for Australian ecommerce sites.

well yea.. $5.00 is like highway robbery! ;D

I used to be on the whole "degrade without javascript" kick... but it's just not worth it IMO. I just add <noscript> tags to the top and tell them they can't browse without it. Javascript is a major part of things these days with frameworks like jQuery making things work so much better.

What kills me about html is that 2 html elements things "require" javascript:
<button name="blah" value="go">
This should totally have added an href so work like a link. Instead it requires onclick to work
and <select name="blah">
Also needs an href to handle the javascript onchange.

Those 2 should have been made to work without javascript

Yeah, the main reason for my accessibility 'kick' in templates is mostly for the Australian market.
I currently work with govt and education sites and they have to conform to ISO standards & even accessibility for screenreaders and other devices. Everything takes 10 times longer, but it's better than being sued or losing ISO standards status.
It's also kind of a challenge and an interest.

I am just going to degrade using the noscript tags, because it is the easiest and most widely used, and also because it would be a shame to disallow non-javascript browsers just because you want a little bit of ajax in the cart. I'd rather have a degraded version that still lets you add to the cart.

Doing a little testing using MAMP so it won't be seen for a while ;)
