This module allows you to output your information pages (About/Privacy/Terms) and INVOICES to a PDF file, which your customer can save to disk or print.

This is intended to be a "global" module, not just restricted to invoices.

On pages that can be printed, a PDF icon will appear at the right on the breadcrumb line (just below the header). Clicking on this, will present you with a PDF version of the page you are viewing.

PDF invoicing is working, however, you will have to be viewing the order (no button on the history page to provide you with direct access to the PDF version yet - but I'm working on it!).

A working demo is available at http://dev.fido-x.net where all information style pages (Information, News, Events, FAQs, etc.) can be viewed as PDF files. Create a dummy account, make a sample purchase (or 2), then view the order. Click the PDF icon to be presented with a PDF version of your order.

Works nice but you may want to rethink the placement of the PDF icon it took me a few min to figure out where it was located. You may want to place it inside the order invoice maybe in front of the continue button but that upper right hand side is off the mark

I did say where the icon would be.

That's all well and good if you want something that is specific to a particular page. As I stated, this is intended to be a "global" module/function, not just for invoices, so I chose to put it in the layout template file. Which also means this is the ONLY file (at the moment) that needs to be modified (although, it is intended that there will be a button in the customer's account order history, next to the view button, so customers can get a PDF version of their invoice without having to go as far as "viewing").

Maybe, putting something like "Print to PDF" next to the icon would help?

I see it. I'm sure the placement will work, but I have no clue what that image is. You know it's a PDF, but a visitor does not.

No, mine is not the same. The one you mention requires modifications to the account/invoice controller and template files, is a single purpose modification and (apparently) is not compatible with OpenCart 1.3.x.

Mine is an independent module that provides more than just invoices in pdf. It is a global module that provides for the viewing/printing in pdf of any information page, product page as well as customer invoices.
