Been testing the module and have a couple of points to make:Goober wrote:Hi,
Loyalty Points Test
Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.
The mod will be made available commercially following this testing period.

1. If ones loyalty points/discount exceeds the price of the product then the shop owes the customer the difference - according to the final amount: EG: I ended up with 235000 points and purchased a product for 118.00 and ended up with a -GBP115.00 (all figures are approximate).
2. There is not option to use a given amount of points ie, given the example above I wanted to provide only enough points to cover the purchase but was unable to do so resulting in the above issue.
3. I also found that if I wanted to change my mind about applying the loyalty points I couldn't.
Hope you find the above of use and consider it constructive.
Cheers

Am really looking for a solution like this, but would prefer the option on whether a customer uses his points or not, and a cap that they are allowed to use per store checkout.
For example, if they have 100 points worth £1 each, and their total was £100, i would like the option for them to only be able to redeem 90% of their points, leaving £10 to pay.
That way, there is no issue with points outweighing price, and causing a refund of credit they never had in the first place!

Using opencart 3.0.3.2 - PHP 7.4 - Standard Template - Add to Cart Enable Disable Out of Stock Product 3.x - Export/Import Tool (V3.22) for OpenCart 3.x - Footer Social Media Link( 3.x ) v1.0
Well, I assume that this will be in the core in 1.5.x but the actual schedule for this is open.
Has Nicu gotten this ready and if it is ready from where can we get/buy it?

I don't think it's being developed anymore. The chap behind it seems to have disappeared.
But 1.5 will have one, see first post:
