This contrib allows you to change the number of products on mainpage (newest products) via admin panel.
This is only one file to download and 5 steps to install it.

There is only 1 difference

at step 5 for language file

file==> admin/language/english/setting/setting.php

your file ==> admin/language/german/setting/setting.php

add this

$_['entry_anasayfa_urun'] = 'Number of product ( Write what you want in german ):<br /><span class="help">Write help instruction what you want.</span>';

Thats all

My [shameless plug]Homepage Package[/shameless plug] (http://www.fido-x.net/index.php?route=p ... duct_id=50) includes "latest products", "featured products" and "special offers" modules that have this capability.

The "latest/featured/specials" modules can be enabled/disabled, positioned on the home page or in a column and have limits applied from the admin component of the module.
