I'm pretty excited about this one! HostJars has created a module that we install like any other module, and it sits in our admin under Extensions -> Modules. The module allows you to create new modules, including all the files and the whole admin interface, and when you click save you will be taken back to the Extensions -> Modules page where your new module will be waiting for you! Then you just go and create the frontend, which will now have access to all the config settings you provided it in the admin, using the Module Creator tool.

Pretty nifty if you ask me, look forward to hearing feedback on this one!

Available here for free: http://opencart.hostjars.com/module-creator

Enjoy :)

Thanks for the release, but I don't know how to let it work, it listed all my clients on front, why?

and your Info Box also doesn't work. I've got
Notice: Undefined index: info_box_location in D:\My Documents\My Web Sites\PHP\htdocs\online\catalog\controller\module\info_box.php on line 13Notice: Undefined index: info_box_location in D:\My Documents\My Web Sites\PHP\htdocs\online\catalog\controller\module\info_box.php on line 15Notice: Undefined index: info_box_location in D:\My Documents\My Web Sites\PHP\htdocs\online\catalog\controller\module\info_box.php on line 17Notice: Undefined index: info_box_location in D:\My Documents\My Web Sites\PHP\htdocs\online\catalog\controller\module\info_box.php on line 19
Tested on OC 1.5.1.3, thanks!

I know nothing about PHP and SQL, but I still try my best to understand it.

It listed all your clients on front? It sounds like you are talking about the DIY Module Builder module, which walks you through creating a module and uses your customers as an example.

Make sure you choose your location on the backend before accessing the frontend for the info box.

@justinv - Will it create 1.5.2.1 modules yet?

Hello-
I've tried to use this and I receive the follwing errors when saving the module. The module DOES then appear in the module list, but then another set of errors (further below) appears at the top of the store home page. I'm installing on version 1.5.1.3. Any ideas? Thanks.
