Hello!

I am still trying to figure out how to make the search work the way I need it to and was wondering if I could get some guidance or help. Basically, I need to have search function that will search all the keywords in any order but the results can only show products that contain both of the keywords.

For example:

If I searched for "HP 4000 toner" in the original search, I would not find the product "HP 4000 4050 toner".

I found this mod:
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 69#p158069

but the problem is if I search "HP 4000 toner", I will get any product with HP, 4000 or toner. Basically I want only results containing all three keywords to show. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

To find an exact match for the keywords. Commonsense, it would appear. Alas, no open source cart I've looked seems to do it by default. We have 120,000 records on our databse at work (bookshop). If I type in Jones + Ancient + History the last place I want my customer to find Jones' History of the Ancient World is on page 29 of 35 result pages.
