Please help

I am very new here but have spent quite some time reading through before I posted this.

I am trying to add extensions on a site I have purchased using version 1.5.6.4.

At first I couldn't find the root file to copy admin and catalogue into. I think I have found them in public_html? However I can not drag the items over or copy them into here it just does not let me, has a little red no entry sign.

Can anyone please help me!

Well the place, called Site ROOT, is the MAIN Directory of a Site on a Server.
And in the Case of OC, it's the Shop ROOT, the Place, where the SHOP FRONT Side
index.php File and the SHOP FRONT Side config.php File reside.
(among some other things, like the catalog/... and the admin/... Directory)
