Back Order extention???

I've been looking for an extent ion that would allow me to sell out of stock items then mark then flag the order as having back orders and tracking how-many of the product I have shipped on the order.

There are a few out there that are close but not exactly what I want.

I want to be able to see a list of products that have been purchased that are on back order.
and also need to be able to mark orders as partial shipped and track the items still needed to ship.

there is one extension that lets you mark partial shipped but if you say had an order for 12 of one product and was able to ship 11 there is nothing to track just the one.

I'd like to stock items and you another vender for drop ships.

any good examples would help thanks!!

Ziggy - did you ever discover anything? When I wrote my own shopping cart with Tango/FMP some 20 years ago, the first modification I made after using it for a few weeks was the ability to create a backorder (new order with remaining products and existing order adjusted). It was an invaluable tool and would be so in OpenCart.
