Hi.
I need to use modules for these purposes:

- Remove item option (like by clicking an 'x' sign ) to shopping basket on homepage.
- A pop-up window that shows visitors can not use online order service out of certain hours.
Are there modules for these purposes or can anyone offer a solution?
Thanks.

I have not seen modules/mods for these.

Product comparison module has that 'remove with X' already so from there you could get some help.

Would that pop-up window mean that customers can call and do orders in the phone? So basically you want that the store would be in "read-only" mode in certain hours of day?

Thanks for the reply.
It's an online food order website.
There are working hours for takeways and delivery hours for 5 hour interval in daytime.
I need customers to see they can't expect delivery for some hours if they use checkout. The script should not go to checkout approval page.
I will search for the module you mentioned but its hard for me to modify it i guess.

How about 'Empty' button to the cart? There's a module available for this.

To prevent checkout process you need to code a 'if time between start_time and end_time then' and pass that to the checkout script.

You could use the maintenance mod for a store closed period. You'd need to make a cron job or something to switch the db value at each time
