This's a driver for CuBrid a database that use the non-standart connect by prior query just like oracle, the INCRement function that avoid the soo expensive update query to increment views, it's fast and easy to deploy.

NOTE: each fixed query will be saved in cubrid.query.fixed.log at log directory.

I doubt OpenCart will implement this anytime soon since they are busy with what they have on hand now...

I agree on OC itself, and moreover mysql has the plain advantage of nearly universal availability even on shared hosts, but the tools are good for other purposes. [Edit, added:] Actually, "Now what?" was my initial reaction, so I looked at his profile and spot-checked his posts going way back, and decided then that I really ought to look at what he linked. Having nothing whatsoever to do with OC, I'm working on a GIS cartographic system and in dealing with some new kinds of few but still too many ants I'm looking for new anteaters. He posted one.
