Hi all,

I'm currently looking at my options on which shopping cart CMS to use for a handful of projects I have coming up.

I exclusively use HTML 5 Boilerplate, along with Compass, SASS and jQuery for many of my projects, and would like to continue using them when setting up ecommerce sites as I'm comfortable with them.

Would OpenCart be suitable to integrate HTML 5 Boilerplate, Compass and SASS so when we start I start themes from scratch I can use HTML5BP as our starting point, along with Compass and SASS for styling?

Well opencart wouldn't do this just for you ;)

Actually OpenCart has been switching to use Bootstrap, which I believe is similar to Boilerplate.. so you might want to get on that bus.

Ah yeah, I undertand OpenCart wouldn't do this out of the box. I would have to create a default theme, and set up the default .tpl files.

I'll look into BootCamp. I thought that was primarily for creating layouts for phone.

I think more people are leaning towards LESS these days even Bootstrap.

This should save you some time: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=14631
