Until recently I had a regret that Template Monster templates do not OpenCart. In my opinion, OpenCart better PrestaShop and osCommerce, but their templates are there. But recently stumbled on a link on Google - Opencart at Template Monster. Templates are ready generally, developers are grinding.
Prices of course will grow. But quality will grow too. And most importantly, a lot will increase the popularity of OpenCart. This is good.
PS:
I am not an employee Template Monster. I create OpenCart Templates myself and sell it in my shop http://www.websiteskin.com. Nevertheless, I believe that things are moving positively.

Nice Templates, though Over priced in my opinion. There are really professional and complex templates at themeforest & opencart extension store ranging from 25$ to 60$. TemplateMonster...140$- 150$ is too much in IMHO ;)

You want to thank me for my time! :) Click here to donate

Thank you for your interest in the subject.
Although the meaning of post was OpenCart recognition and growth of his popularity by Template Monster. But the questions comparing prices make this post truly imperishable. Well, that's fine too.

Here's my position. On the Theme Forest beautiful patterns on the latest technologies - CSS3, HTML5. Because OpenCart - a modern engine. In the Extensions - Themes official website prices OpenCart templates even less from $ 0 - $ 15 - $ 20 And for this price is also a very good templates.

However, for the trader who opens a real business, with startup costs of $ X 000. The difference in the price of the template $ 20 - $ 200 does not play a big role.

Template Monster has historically average price of E-Commerce Templates $ 130 - $ 230 even on older engines - osCommerce, Virtuemart, PrestaShop. ThemeForest predpochitant more democratic prices. Also at high quality. But it is a matter of marketing strategy. RocketTheme, for example, distributes Magento Templates are free, but only for members of the club subscription.

It is possible that some freelancers critical difference of $ 100 per template. However, this market is, and always have a choice.

Note, also that even the developers of Open Source Software (OpenCart) also have an interest to engage in the business extesions more money.

Good luck, and plenty of good projects
