Just found this template here:
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... ion_id=164

Does it work with v1.2.9 or does it need changes made?

Thanks

I believe there were a couple of changes involving variables between 1.2.8 and 1.2.9 but shouldn't be to hard to fix.

So do you suggest just installing it and posting any problems or is there a list of changes?

Download it and compare the variables used in each then alter accordingly.

There are a few people on this forum that have done this and many more that will help you so feel free to post any questions you may have.

I will upload all the default designs for 1.2.9 tonight (All the ones I've done that is).
Please post any fixes or errors you notice and I'll fix them asap.

readyman- great, got it downloaded and installed, no problem.

One thing worth mentioning though is the directory must be called "default_purple" or it'll break the theme. Not sure if this applies to all opencart themes, this is my first one.

Thanks!

Yes, all *my* themes are ready to upload as they are straight into your theme folder - With the name of the extracted folder.
So when you unzip the folder and it is "default_blue" - that is the folder you upload.
You can still keep your "default" template as it is - untouched.
You can also have all the default_orange, default_purple, default_grey etc in the same installation
