I started to build my site using google chrome. I'm almost finish with the site so I decided to see how it works with internet explore. Everything on my cart looks out of place, not the same as google chrome. Does anyone have a solution. I have both I.E. style sheets that came with open cart

a link may help

Other than that, you should compare your new stylesheet against the default OC stylesheet and then see if you need to modify the IE stylesheets

Also, it could be that the new styles you are using come up against incompatibilities with Internet Explorer,

It is quite a heavily modified default template me thinks

Even in FireFox and internet Explorer there are big differences.

Alas it is not going to be something that is easy to fix.

I didn't change any codeing on opencart default template. What I did I open the header made a copy of the original header, then I erase all the codeing for open cart. Now that the header was black I open my dwt. file copy the codeing paste it on the header for opencart. on my dwt I have a div mark editable contact , I pasted all of the orignal default code for opencart here and this is how I managed to intergrade my template to opencart. I have downloaded firfox, safary, and chrome(my default browser) on all of these the site looks and acts correct. But Internet explorer is the only one I'm having issues. Even when I use the opencart default theme it looks incorrect with internet explorer.

Hi!

I am also having problems with internet explorer.
My entire site looks weird in explorer, but it looks fine in safari.

I have tried to remove all extensions and using the default theme, but it still looks weird in explorer!

Can anyone help me?

My opencart site: www.allthings.se

Hi Nija!

Thanks for the reply :)

Now I see english looks fine in IE, I did not noticed it before.

I am kind of a noob with opencart and all things code ;)
But when you wrote "reupload your se language" i figured i should make a copy of the catalog "swedish", then delete it and then upload it again. I did that, it did not work. I found the catalog in FTP (I use FileZilla) in: public_html/catalog/language/swedish. So no I think i probably did not do the right thing..

I have changed quite a lot in the swedish catalog, because a lot was misspelled. Could it be that I made some mistake and changed something I should not have changed? I mean could that be the reason it now looks weird in IE?
I did not make a copy of the files before i started to change the swedish.. :(

Thanks for helping :)

Hi
All your files from swedish language that you edited must be saved whit utf-8 encoding.
Thats may be the reason that your language messup your site.
Have a nice day.

I solved the problem :)

In the file "catalog/language/swedish/module/featured" I changed "featured" to swedish, because it was not translated.
When I changed this back, it solved the problem.

I don´t know why.

But this is such a little detail it does not matter it´s in english :)

Thanks for all the help!

I've found the problem maybe with the categories / subcategories

because when you view the page via the navigation links I get a problem:
https://caths.clothing/shoes/size-7/siz ... look-heels

but when you view the same item with navigating it works:
https://caths.clothing/size-7-cream-amp ... look-heels
