Hi JS gurus.

I want to add my Authorize.net seal to the payment page. The code is below minus my actual id.

I have already added the card images to the authorizenet_aim.tpl file using this code

Code: Select all

<tr>
      <td></td>
      <td><img src="/image/data/acceptedcards.jpg" alt="Visa or Mastercard" /></td>
    </tr>

but am unsure of how to add the additional code below for the seal, even if this is the correct place.

Code: Select all

<!-- (c) 2005, 2011. Authorize.Net is a registered trademark of CyberSource Corporation --> <div class="AuthorizeNetSeal"> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">var ANS_customer_id="mysecretcode";</script> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="//verify.authorize.net/anetseal/seal.js" ></script> <a href="http://www.authorize.net/" id="AuthorizeNetText" target="_blank">Electronic Payments</a> </div>
Your help is appreciated...

Nothing special with it, you just put the code in the .tpl file where you want it to display the seal

Hi Simon,

I did insert the code in a similar manner to this

Code: Select all

<tr>
      <td></td>
      <td>    <!-- (c) 2005, 2011. Authorize.Net is a registered trademark of CyberSource Corporation --> <div class="AuthorizeNetSeal"> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">var ANS_customer_id="mysecretcode";</script> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="//verify.authorize.net/anetseal/seal.js" ></script> <a href="http://www.authorize.net/" id="AuthorizeNetText" target="_blank">Electronic Payments</a> </div>
</td>
    </tr>
But it doesn't work. All that displays is the alternative text url (<a href="http://www.authorize.net/" id="AuthorizeNetText" target="_blank">Electronic Payments</a>)

This shows where I'd like to place the image from Authorize.net. i.e. Next to the Visa/MC Image.

Image

I'm sure it's something to do with the js not working in the way I attempting, but I know not a lot about js usage ???

try specifying the actual URL scheme.

If your store is on SSL use https://verify.authorize.net/anetseal/seal.js rather than just //verify.authorize.net/anetseal/seal.js

Alas despite staring at it for a good while, and hacking around, all I can get is a hyperlink, and no image.

The idea is the js does a verification to validate you are a genuine merchant, so a nice thing to have.

Below is the extract from the authorizenet_aim.tpl file with the relevant sections. My addin in red.

Code: Select all

<h2><?php echo $text_credit_card; ?></h2>
<div id="payment">
  <table class="form">
    <tr>
      <td></td>
      [color=#FF0000]<td><img src="/image/data/acceptedcards.jpg" alt="Visa or Mastercard" /><div class="AuthorizeNetSeal"> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">var ANS_customer_id="mysecretcode";</script> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="https://verify.authorize.net/anetseal/seal.js" ></script> <a href="http://www.authorize.net/" id="AuthorizeNetText" target="_blank">Electronic Payments</a> </div></td>[/color]
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td><?php echo $entry_cc_owner; ?></td>
      <td><input type="text" name="cc_owner" value="" /></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td><?php echo $entry_cc_number; ?></td>
      <td><input type="text" name="cc_number" value="" /></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td><?php echo $entry_cc_expire_date; ?></td>
      <td><select name="cc_expire_date_month">
          <?php foreach ($months as $month) { ?>
          <option value="<?php echo $month['value']; ?>"><?php echo $month['text']; ?></option>
          <?php } ?>
        </select>
        /
        <select name="cc_expire_date_year">
          <?php foreach ($year_expire as $year) { ?>
          <option value="<?php echo $year['value']; ?>"><?php echo $year['text']; ?></option>
          <?php } ?>
        </select></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td><?php echo $entry_cc_cvv2; ?></td>
      <td><input type="text" name="cc_cvv2" value="" size="3" /></td>
    </tr>
  </table>

The result is this.

There should be a nice clickable image where it says 'Electronic Payments'. I'd like it to appear next to the card images, but that's more formatting I'll sort once it works.

I'm sure it's something to do with the way I am putting the js in a table, but my knowledge is now stretched.

bump

I've hacked around with this for days, and cannot get the javascript to work. If I paste the code in the footer.tpl it works fine, but for all my efforts and hackery, I cannot get this to work in authorize.net.tpl

Any js experts out there prepared to give me a hand on this please? I notice that there are lots of postings and solutions for other carts out there, but nothing for OC.

Here's hoping 8)

I fixed this problem using iframe,
just create a html containing javascript seal from Authorize.net.
and use iframe tag to include the html file which contains javascript seal.
This worked fine for me.
