Made the stupid mistake of not viewing my site mods in all browsers until now. Looks great in Chrome and FF, but is a major train wreck in IE8.

Can anyone help me fix this? There's only one product uploaded at the moment. You'll probably have to view in Chrome or FF to compare to IE8 to see all the ugliness:

Karen,

It's a lovely site, but I see what you mean about IE8 :(

I tried comparing the home page source in IE8 and Chrome. Two differences:

1) The IE8 version has this xml declaration above the DOCTYPE:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
-the Chrome one doesn't have this

2) The IE8 version is missing a closing tag (at the end of img src):

Code: Select all

<div id="header">
            <a href="http://205.134.249.57/~tcadmin/index.php?route=common/home"><img src="http://205.134.249.57/~tcadmin/image/data/toplogo.gif"
title="Go to home page"</a>
Is this causing the problem?

Yes, very odd, isn't it?

I do know that I used a hammer rather than a scalpel to edit my header and product templates, especially. It worked in Chrome, so I left it that way.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look at it. Much appreciated.
