Hello, I would like to know how to get my left and right columns in a fixed position so that they follow the visitor when they scroll down the page. There is an extension for the left column here:
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... umn%20left
Unfortunately I have not been able to mirror it successfully. Can I adjust my stylesheet to get this to happen?
Thanks

Since you're using a custom theme, I would suggest to contact the theme developer in order to resolved this issue.

The VqMod Author added some unfinished Code Section into the VqMod, but other than that, you just
have to RENAME:
<file name="catalog/view/theme/DEFAULT/template/common/footer.tpl">
in EVERY VqMod, you'll ever use, into:
<file name="catalog/view/theme/*/template/common/footer.tpl">
to make it work (theoretically) on any other but the DEFAULT Theme as well!
...
Still, it needed to be readjusted a little, and had to add the Bottom Padding value, to make it look better in the openshop theme, because I changed my OpenShop MENU CSS Section Values a little!
...
Good Luck
Ernie
AND ONE MORE DETAIL:
NEVER use MULTI WORD VQMOD TITLE NAMES like:
Top nav bar and left filters column fixed position.xml
always COMBINE such into, i.E.:
top_navbar_and_left_filters_column_fixed_position.xml
or just create another title, like:
fixed_position_navbar.xml
just to make sure, to act like a PRO, when it comes to doing things the right way!

I sent you the latest VqMod, momentarely to be seen here:
