Hi There: you can use easy slider which is pretty easy to configure a bit if manual configuration needed.

Readyman has a home page slideshow mod, if that's of interest -

I have posted a jQuery based slider that I am using here: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=14689

You can see it in action here: http://www.12voltsupplyhouse.com

You can find javascript-based sliders anywhere. I use them in my templates. you can also use an xml based flash as well. It's very easy to encorporate this into the header.tpl or home.tpl.

or you could forget all that and just add an <object> tag inside your home.tpl file and make it load a flash file.

You can insert picasa or flickr slideshows directly in the welcome/home section as well.

Hi.
I am having issues with this module on 1.49.1. Is the module prepared to work with this version?

Hi Vmmir,

I'm assuming you fixed this issue? If you have issues with any mods from alreadymade.com it's best to contact me direct.

I am having issues and have not resolved them on my own. The slideshow displays all images at once and there is a big gap (space) between the top welcome message part and the latest products part. I tried on several browsers but I think its either in the homepageslideshow.tpl or the actual javascript that I am not familiar with.

Readyman I purchased this from you can you please help?

I somehow fixed all the slides showing at once. But the big space between the welcome message and the slideshow is still troubling me. If anyone can help it would be of great help! Readyman you must be busy...where are you?
