Ask yourself some questions.
Q: Could tax, total and subtotal be extensions ?
A: Yes, these are extensions.
Q: How are extensions managed ?
A: Go to Extensions - Extensions and select type.
Q: Why out of order?
A: Set sortorder in Extensions - Extensions : Order Totals

If you set the values in the Extensions > Order Totals area and they're still out of order, you're probably experiencing one of the 3.0 bugs related to the Sub-Total extension. You can find directions on how to fix that here:

Added to the FAQ. Thank you.

The most generated errors being found on Opencart forum originates from contributed programming. The increased post counters are caused by redundancies of the same solutions that were already provided prior.

Apologies to both you guy, I didn't realise that straightlight was adding FAQ's to my original market threat, so I added a new thread actually called FAQ's for this great purpose...

Thank you

You are 100% correct. It is not the right place for it. I'll move it again tomorrow, perhaps in the General section...
Actually it will be in the FAQ & Tutorial section...
